Snap hits No.26 on UK Chart!

The 2022 Armenian entry to the Eurovision Song Contest has hit Number 26 on the Official UK Chart, this week!

After a respectable, but disappointing, result at just 20th place, Armenia’s entry, by Rosa Linn, has slowly been finding itself a new life, these past few weeks, after going viral on TikTok. More than 360,000 clips have used the Eurovision track, many blissfully unaware of the contest.

Although Sam Ryder’s Space Man, charted higher, at No. 2, in any other year, in recent memory, Snap would be easily the highest charting 2022 entry. Remember, also, that this is just it’s first week in the Top 40, it could very well continue to climb. Rosa Linn has already beaten Kalush Orchestra, who charted at No. 38.

Everything is going crazy and it’s a dream come true. You never know what will go viral on TikTok. I saw a video of a guy who proposed to his girlfriend and it was amazing. It’s one of the most important things in their lives with my song and it touches my heart very, very strongly.

The song seemed to initially go viral, a month ago, in South America, and then slowly seep into the rest of the world, due to the sheer amount of times the song had been shared on TikTok.

While Snap only came 20th place, it’s looking like its UK chart position will very soon top its Eurovision performance, as it becomes one of the biggest breakouts in Eurovision history.
