The conclusion of the first semi final of Liverpool 2023 provided us with our long-awaited first 10 qualifiers for Saturday’s Grand Final!
The 10 countries that qualified from Semi 1 were:

- ๐ฒ๐ฉ Moldova | Pasha Parfeni – Soarele ลi Luna
- ๐จ๐ญ Switzerland | Remo Forrer – Watergun
- ๐ซ๐ฎ Finland | Kรครคrijรค – Cha Cha Cha
- ๐จ๐ฟ Czechia | Vesna – My Sister’s Crown
- ๐ฎ๐ฑ Israel | Noa Kirel – Unicorn
- ๐ต๐น Portugal | Mimicat – Ai Coraรงรฃo
- ๐ธ๐ช Sweden | Loreen – Tattoo
- ๐ท๐ธ Serbia | Luke Black – Samo Mi Se Spava
- ๐ณ๐ด Norway | Alessandra – Queen of Kings
This meant that the following five countries will not be performing again on Saturday night:
- ๐ฒ๐น Malta | The Busker – Dance (Our Own Party)
- ๐ฑ๐ป Latvia | Sudden Lights – Aijฤ
- ๐ฎ๐ช Ireland | Wild Youth – We Are One
- ๐ฆ๐ฟ Azerbaijan | TuralTuranX – Tell Me More
- ๐ณ๐ฑ Netherlands | Mia Nicolai & Dion Cooper – Burning Daylight
This was the first time since Helsinki 2007 that the Semi Final qualifiers have been decided entirely by televote alone. It’ll be interesting to see the breakdown of these results when they are released on Sunday morning.
