Rosa Linn’s Snap has reached new heights this week, debuting on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, in the latest accolade in this extraordinary saga.
As previously reported, Rosa Linn’s Snap, which came 20th for Armenia in Turin, three months ago, has become something of a viral sensation. It initially gained popularity on the social media site, TikTok, especially through South America, but over the past month or so it’s begun to really make headway in Europe.
For the past four weeks, it’s placed in the Top 30 of the Official UK Chart, peaking at a new height of No. 23 this week, and only a few days ago it took the crown from Brividi, as the most-streamed entry of 2022, and the 9th most streamed Eurovision song of all-time.
It’s entry at No. 97 on the US Billboard Hot 100 may seem low, comparatively, but it has to be pointed out that only 12 Eurovision songs have ever broken the United States’ charts, and Snap is the 2nd from the 21st Century to do so, after Duncan Laurence’s Arcade.
With around 3 million new streams for Snap, every single day, it seems that Rosa Linn is on an upward trajectory toward even more success!
